This fountain pen is made with Fordite and highlighted with red acrylic. The ti-gold hardware is accented with brushed ti-gold. Fordite is formed from the buildup of layers of enamel lacquer slag on tracks and skids on which cars were painted with acrylic lacquer, which have been baked numerous times.
